About this market
ContextThis is a market on whether Vice President Kamala Harris will cast another tie-breaking vote by July 15, 2021. As of the inception of this market on June 3, 2021, Vice President Kamala Harris has cast 4 tie-breaking votes. This market will resolve to "Yes" if Vice President Harris casts a fifth tie-breaking vote on or before 11:59:59 PM ET July 15, 2021, and “No” otherwise. The resolution source will be https://www.senate.gov/legislative/TieVotes.htm. In the event of ambiguity, the market will be resolved at the sole discretion of the Markets Integrity Committee (MIC).
How trading works

Resolution
Markets resolve through UMA's Optimistic Oracle. After the market closes, a proposer submits a resolution, followed by a 2-hour dispute window. If no dispute is raised, the resolution is accepted. Disputed markets go to UMA token holder vote.

What happens if the resolution source is unavailable?+
If the primary resolution source is unavailable, the market may be delayed or resolved by UMA oracle vote using credible alternative sources. Polymarket's optimistic oracle has final authority on disputed resolutions.
