About this market
ContextThis is a market on whether the Cleveland Browns or the Los Angeles Chargers will win their NFL week five matchup scheduled to take place on October 10, 2021, at 4:05 PM ET. This market will resolve to “Browns” if the Browns win. If the Chargers win, it will resolve to “Chargers.” If the match is postponed to a date on or before November 10, 2021, the same market conditions will apply. If the match is postponed to a date after November 10, 2021, or canceled altogether, the market will resolve 56-44 in favor of “Chargers.”
How trading works
Polymarket uses a central limit order book (CLOB) model — you can buy or sell shares of any outcome at the current market price, or place limit orders at your target price. All positions are settled in USDC when the market resolves.
Resolution
Markets resolve through UMA's Optimistic Oracle. After the market closes, a proposer submits a resolution, followed by a 2-hour dispute window. If no dispute is raised, the resolution is accepted. Disputed markets go to UMA token holder vote.
