About this market
ContextThis is a market on whether Fabiano Caruana will win the 2021 United States Chess Championship. This market will resolve to "Yes" if Fabiano Caruana places 1st place and is the winner of the United States Chess Championship that takes place at the Saint Louis Chess Club on October 5th – October 18th, 2021. If he drops out of the tournament this market will resolve to "No". If the event is canceled, the market will resolve 50-50.
How trading works

Resolution
Markets resolve through UMA's Optimistic Oracle. After the market closes, a proposer submits a resolution, followed by a 2-hour dispute window. If no dispute is raised, the resolution is accepted. Disputed markets go to UMA token holder vote.
