About this market
ContextThis is a market on who will win the UFC 263 fight between Leon Edwards and Nate Diaz, set to take place on June 12, 2021, at the Gila River Arena in Glendale, Arizona. This market will resolve to “Edwards” if Leon Edwards is declared the winner of the bout, either by KO, TKO, submission, DQ, or decision. This market will resolve to “Diaz” if Nate Diaz is declared the winner of the bout, either by KO, TKO, submission, DQ, or decision. If the fight ends in a draw or no contest, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the fight is rescheduled to a date on or before July 1, 2021, the same rules will apply. If the fight is postponed to a date after July 1, 2021 or cancelled altogether, the market will resolve $0.85 “Edwards”, and $0.15 “Diaz”, in line with pre-fight odds. In the event of ambiguity in terms of the market outcome, the market will be resolved in good faith at the sole discretion of the Markets Integrity Committee (MIC).
How trading works
Polymarket uses a central limit order book (CLOB) model — you can buy or sell shares of any outcome at the current market price, or place limit orders at your target price. All positions are settled in USDC when the market resolves.
Resolution
Markets resolve through UMA's Optimistic Oracle. After the market closes, a proposer submits a resolution, followed by a 2-hour dispute window. If no dispute is raised, the resolution is accepted. Disputed markets go to UMA token holder vote.
