About this market
ContextThis market is about whether Jessica Cisneros or Henry Cuellar will win the runoff election for Democratic nominee for Texas' 28th Congressional District, scheduled to take place on May 24, 2022. If Jessica Cisneros wins the runoff election and is designated the Democratic nominee for the TX-28 House election, this market will resolve to "Cisneros". If Henry Cuellar wins the runoff election and is designated the Democratic nominee for the TX-28 House election, this market will resolve to "Cuellar". If for any reason neither become the Democratic Nominee, the market will resolve 50/50. Determination of the Democratic nominee for the TX-28 House election will be based on a consensus of credible reporting, or if there is ambiguity, the final state election authority certification or other final official determination of the TX-28 results.

Resolution
Markets resolve through UMA's Optimistic Oracle. After the market closes, a proposer submits a resolution, followed by a 2-hour dispute window. If no dispute is raised, the resolution is accepted. Disputed markets go to UMA token holder vote.
