About this market
ContextThis is a market on whether Gilbert Burns or Khamzat Chimaev will win their bout, set to take place on April 9, 2022. If Gilbert Burns is declared the winner of this bout, this market will resolve to “Burns”. If Khamzat Chimaev is declared the winner of this bout, this market will resolve to “Chimaev”. If this fight is declared a draw, or if for any reason the match is not scored, postponed after April 9 or cancelled, this market will resolve 50-50.
How trading works

Resolution
Markets resolve through UMA's Optimistic Oracle. After the market closes, a proposer submits a resolution, followed by a 2-hour dispute window. If no dispute is raised, the resolution is accepted. Disputed markets go to UMA token holder vote.

The possible outcomes are: Burns (0%), Chimaev (100%). Each contract pays out $1 if correct, $0 otherwise.
What happens if the resolution source is unavailable?+
If the primary resolution source is unavailable, the market may be delayed or resolved by UMA oracle vote using credible alternative sources. Polymarket's optimistic oracle has final authority on disputed resolutions.
