ContextThis is a market on the higher placed finisher at the 2022 Spanish Grand Prix, Max Verstappen or Charles Leclerc. The race takes place over 66 laps of the 4.675-kilometre Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on Sunday, May 22. The market will resolve to âMax Verstappenâ if Max Verstappen finishes ahead of Charles Leclerc, and âCharles Leclercâ if Charles Leclerc finishes ahead of Max Verstappen. Note: - If Max Verstappen finishes the race but Charles Leclerc does not, or does not compete at all, the market will resolve to âMax Verstappenâ. - If Charles Leclerc finishes the race but Max Verstappen does not, or does not compete at all, the market will resolve to âCharles Leclercâ. - If neither Charles Leclerc nor Max Verstappen finish the race before May 29 (11:59 PM ET), then the market will resolve to 50-50. - If for any reason the 2022 Spanish Grand Prix is rescheduled to a date on or before May 29, 2022, the same market conditions will apply.

Resolution
Markets resolve through UMA's Optimistic Oracle. After the market closes, a proposer submits a resolution, followed by a 2-hour dispute window. If no dispute is raised, the resolution is accepted. Disputed markets go to UMA token holder vote.
