About this market
ContextThis is a market on whether the Denver Broncos will cover a 3 point spread against the New York Giants in their NFL week 1 matchup scheduled to take place on September 12, 2021. This market will resolve to “Broncos” if the Broncos win by over 3 points, and “Giants” if the Giants lose by less than 3 points or win. If the final point spread is exactly 3 points and favors the Broncos, the market will resolve 50-50 If the match is postponed to a date on or before October 12, 2021, the same market conditions will apply. If the match is postponed to a date after October 12, 2021, or canceled altogether, the market will resolve 50-50.
How trading works
Polymarket uses a central limit order book (CLOB) model — you can buy or sell shares of any outcome at the current market price, or place limit orders at your target price. All positions are settled in USDC when the market resolves.
Resolution
Markets resolve through UMA's Optimistic Oracle. After the market closes, a proposer submits a resolution, followed by a 2-hour dispute window. If no dispute is raised, the resolution is accepted. Disputed markets go to UMA token holder vote.
