About this market
ContextThis market refers to Game 1 of the 2024 American League Divisional Series in the MLB Playoffs between the Cleveland Guardians and the Detroit Tigers scheduled for October 5, 2024, 1:08 PM ET. If the Cleveland Guardians win, the market will resolve to “Guardians”. If the Detroit Tigers win, the market will resolve to “Tigers”. If the game is cancelled or postponed past 11:59 PM ET on October 6, 2024, this market will resolve to 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball (MLB.com), however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
How trading works

Resolution
Markets resolve through UMA's Optimistic Oracle. After the market closes, a proposer submits a resolution, followed by a 2-hour dispute window. If no dispute is raised, the resolution is accepted. Disputed markets go to UMA token holder vote.
